In the 8 facts about yourself, you share 8 things that your readers don't know about you. Then at the end you tag at least 8 other bloggers to keep the fun going. Here are the rules.
* Each blogger must post these rules first.
* Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
* Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
* At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
* Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog.
1. I am a go-getter, which means that when I set myself into achieving something, I always strive hard to make it happen. But I am not a perfectionist - there's a difference between the two.
2. I always put God first in everything that I do. I learned the consequences of not doing so a long time ago. And I always start my day with a prayer - it keeps my feet on the ground.
3. I am a bookworm. My favorite place is the library. Give me something to read and i'll be the happiest person alive! I also love classical music. My very first collection and one of my personal favorite is Antonio Vivaldi.
4. When I was 15, I told myself that I will already be in the US by 2006. I didn't know how and why. But seven years later, it came true. I came here May of 2006. I met my husband when I was 20. I never had a Filipino bf 'coz I thought it was corny and my parents had a "no-bf-while-studying" rule. My husband was my first bf - that's why he think he's special. And he is very special. Miracles do happen when you believe.
5. I joined a kiddie-amateur singing contest when I was 7 and I won 1st place. But then I stopped joining singing contests - I sang at church instead. When I was 2nd yr high school, I won 1st place in editorial writing contest in the divisionwide journalism month celebration. I also joined many other academic-related competitions like essay-writing contests, spelling bee and investigative science. I was a spelling bee champion (science-related) when I was 15.
6. My first plane ride was free. There was this national science camp and I was one of the 5 student representatives from Iligan City. We were sent to UP Los BaƱos and we stayed there for a week - all expense paid by the city government. It was during this time that I met Ate Queency, one of the facilitators who told me to get out of my shell. I never fully understood what she meant by that until recently. I will forever thank her for that.
7. I am aspiring to be a successful businesswoman. I don't like to have a job 'coz I don't want to be a slave to my time and I don't want to be told when to go to work and when to go home. Plus, I don't want to deal with a grumpy boss. No offense, but that's just me. I want to be my own boss.
8. Lastly, I am thankful to God for everything that has happened in my life so far. I am not afraid to face the future 'coz I know that He will always be beside me. My vision for my future is as clear as crystal. There will be challenges for sure but as long as I will keep on believing, as I always have, I will surely make it, especially now that my husband is here with me.
